Sooner rather than later...Camp forms
Please get the camp forms in as soon as possible. We would LOVE to get most of them turned in on THIS SUNDAY. At the very latest we MUST have these turned in by May 5th to the Stake Camp Director..... so please try to bring them this Sunday. Thank you!
Hopewell Young Women and Mothers:
The Young Women have been asked to sing on Mother’s
Day. The song we have selected will
also have a part for Mothers to sing. We
are asking all Mothers of our Young Women to please sing with us.
The song comes from the Children’s Songbook on pg. 178,
“Teacher, Do You Love Me?” (We will be
using the alternate word “Mother” in place of “Teacher”.
PLEASE, come join us for a short practice after church on
Sunday April 28th and May 5th in the chapel. We will also have a brief rehearsal the last
15-20 minutes of Sunday School time on May 12th (Mother’s Day) to be
prepared to sing in Sacrament Meeting that day.
It is our sincere hope that you will join us and enjoy the memories of
doing this with your daughter!
Sincerely,
Hopewell Young Women’s Presidency

This week and more updates!
*We had a wonderful lesson by Sister Prowse on Sunday. She encouraged each of us to watch the video clip "A Search for Truth" here is a link to the clip: https://www.lds.org/youth/learn/yw/apostasy-restoration/restoration?lang=eng#video=a-search-for-truth
*Girls Camp registration forms were sent home on Sunday. Please let us know asap if you still need a form.
*This Wednesday night we will be having a joint activity with the Wakefiled Branch YW. It will be a "pintresting evening" a.k.a. bring something to share that you have found and like. (For example, a hairstyle tutorial you found online and that you can demonstrate or show us the tutorial you found. A recipe you have found and would like to share a bite to eat with the group...etc. etc.)
*More updates about the Laurel/Priest Prom:
Due to the issues that they are having with the website to register/RSVP and the lateness of the date, instead of registering on the website...could we please have the Laurels communicate with the YW president if they are planning to attend the Prom. We need to get a head count of all youth who are planning to attend and their dates if they are coming with one. We need this information by Monday, April 22 so that Richmond and Chesterfield Stakes can have a number to plan the food.
Just a reminder that the youth must be Priest and Laurel age (16-18) and come to the prom in modest attire. For the Young Women their dresses need to be at a minimum down to the knee or longer, no sleeveless, spaghetti strap or backless dresses. For the post prom the youth need to bring clothes to change into after the dance. These clothes should be modest as well. No shorts or tank tops.
